This morning was dead until late. Feeling good about this evening.

Hunting in Millennium swivel lock-on at the corner of a cut over and wooded creek. Saw a shooter last night here, but he was on a mission. Tonight, I’ll be ready for him, God willing.

Shoot straight baws.

Hopefully better hunt than this morning (jumped a doe walking about at 10)

EDIT: Dead this evening - I'm glad I jumped the doe this morning... so at least I can say I SAW a deer today.

One spike so far. The big deer he’s after was there twice today during daylight hours.

Got out with the boy yesterday for a bit - walked 200-300 yards from the state park campsite and had a site. Terrain was tough, sliding down 150 ft to a creek area, then the WMA started where another creek came in, and that one had super steep walls on both sides. Made our way about 60 yards above it in a spot where we could see, but didn't see anything. I'm just glad he wanted to go. I'm also a little bit glad I didn't have to drag a deer 150 vertical feet up that slope on that way back.
