The winds are coming out of the South East, which is the worst case scenario.

And it is going to blow like a mofo for the next few days

well my uncle has a condo but the whole family is going so rather than be crammed all up in there i just got a place at the "phoenix" maybe? something like that

Friday or Saturday depending on if the winds actually get as strong as they're predicting

landfall is imminent. apparently they closed the pass this afternoon so no boats can access the gulf...this sucks arse.

another article i just read stated that it did not matter where it hit this weekend. as the oil continues to flow and the tides, currents and winds change eventually the entire gulf may be affected.
