I have seen quite a few posts asking about job opportunities in the oil spill cleanup. Well if your interested here is your chance. They are hiring hundreds more people after Hurricane Alex because the tide brought oil slicks all over the beach and out of the hot zone. So there is a need for more labor. At least this is the case in Grand Isle.

Try researching and applying for these companies: ES&H, Global, ISI, MillerMe, or Ashland

I have a feeling you're ignorant in everything that is going on down on the gulf coast, especially if you're just listening to what the media says.

The EPA is monitoring the air quality 24/7. They have workers wear clip on tags everyday that test the air quality in working conditions and so far everything is safe. If something were to change in the environment the workers would be pulled off the beach immediately.

ALL agencies of the govt. are prostituted..especially the EPA. Please go to the beach and breathe in the benzene. What a naive doof you are.
Mandatory evacuations will be implemented when enough people die. I

Ashland has been fired, but millerme sucks bro. Those are the guys who are decontaminating you as you walk out of the hot zone. Their job sucks and they get paid the least out of anyone out here.

yea lookin for something oil related due to the shear amount of work available. I've heard from multiple sources people are working 7-12s for as long as they want. Just figured it would be a great way to make some $$$/help the wetlands

Ive got a couple college degrees inc an MBA n finance, most of my experience is IT/finance/management related
