From someone 1,000 miles away
1) Fed Gov should be ashamed at lack of concrete action
2) BP should rot in hell
3) If thi spill was in NY, California or Florida, the Fed Gov would have been there a month ago but Obama and the Senate care crap about Louisiana (sound familiar?)
4) God Bless Nungesser - he seems to be the only politician who embodies the soul of Louisiana. He sticks up for the real people
5) God Bless the people of South Louisiana

Wrong, the public outrage would be 10 fold. In Louisiana there is still a great deal of respect for BP. The people ramp up the pressure and the feds will buckle.
Just wait till this oil hits the white sandy beaches of the FL keys. Then BP's cozy relationship will start to end and heads will roll.

They do not have the expertise, experience, or equipment necessary to do any concrete action.
What can they do?

2) BP should rot in hell
We can play the blame game later.

The government was there within hours of the explosion.

Because he yells and screams in front of the cameras? Really?
You know what all his actions have accomplished? Nothing. Except fooling you into thinking he did anything worthwhile...

God Bless everyone.

Great post templeowl. Everyone is frustrated that we can't seem to stop this thing, but this is one of those things that there isn't much we can do. Like trying to prevent an earthquake or volcano.

He's a fat frick trying to be a hero. There comes a time when REAL leaders shut the frick up and lead by action and not by crying on the TV and radio.
Look at Nagin after Katrina.
