You a dope. Most of the Bible is filled with people who made mistakes.

David cheated with another man’s wife and tried to then kill that man.

Paul had a thorn in the flesh which people speculate about.

The point is that people are just that, people. They make mistakes.

Putting your faith in people and holding them to some expectation is where people trip up. Like all of a sudden their mistakes invalidate the message of Christ and his redemptive plan.

I think it anything it’s a testimony to God’s grace and that no man is above slipping and falling. Because they’re in fact...just a man. Despite whatever anointing they have on their lives.

You got it wrong dude. David concocted a plan by which Uriah is killed in battle. A proxy murder. Had he'd committed such a crime in this state, he would have faced God's judgment in Angola.

25 or so years ago I was in line at a supermarket in Baton Rouge when I noticed there was someone behind me. I glanced at them and then did a double-take as I saw it was Jimmy Swaggart smiling broadly at me. As I was looking at him I noticed out the corner of my eye that there was something odd about his basket that he was pushing. I looked in his basket and saw that there was probably every can of Aquanet hairspray in the white can that was on the Shelf in that store and probably some from in the back because it looked like there were a hundred cans in his basket. I just turned back around and minded my own business.

Jimmy Swaggart may be far from perfect but he is responsible for leading millions to heaven.

Yes, I also believe that to be true.

And that dwarfs any transgressions he may have made in the past.
