Shortly after college and into my new job I asked my parents if I could borrow a pretty substantial chunk of change to do some investing. There were no monthly payments or terms or anything.

I paid them back, lump sum, less than a year later and they were profusely thankful. I was surprised how thankful they were. I was like no, thank you... you lent me zero interest money.

I don’t know if that means they thought I was a deadbeat or if other family has stiffed them before.

My sister is my family.
I am in a good position which I can help her out if needed.
If I was in that position I would just give her the money.
