My grandma died two years ago at 92.

I’d say she was as close to dying from old age as you can get, her body just started shutting down/failing. Lived a healthy life but Father Time is unbeaten.

I had a great aunt who was one month away from her 99th birthday who died from what I would consider natural causes. She passed away in her sleep due to her heart stopping because the potassium level in her blood became too high.

Vital signs was fine before she passed, but just like that.. died.

Are you saying that she hit her expiration date?

Because she didn't. There WAS a medical cause. You just don't know it.

What is dying of old age? My great grand ma died at 94. She was pretty damn active and 'alert/there' up until the very end. I think the last week she might have starting going down hill, but I remember her final 2 days were bad. I had to help her to the bathroom, which no one ever had to do since she was a kid. I'm not really sure what the final cause of death was for her but I just assumed it was old age.

Also a coworker just lost his momma within the year and she was 99, I believe. I remember about a month or two before she died, that he said he finally got her to ride his motorcycle. She kinda went out too just at the very end, of old age I suspect. I guess the mind just knows the body is done and is ready for the next level.

everyone who doesn't die of old age commits suicide.

that blizzard I'm getting from dairy queen today is part of my suicide because it will prevent me from dying of old age.
