Once the glass broke and the alarm went off my pitbulls would have attacked. Then I would have turn on the TV to see my cameras, located the perps and attacked with my jujitsu skills. After that I would PIIHB to the wife, put on my cargo shorts, and have my wife make me a sammich.

how many shots were fired? This is an important question because chances are a home invader isn't carrying an extended mag in their weapon and they most certainly are not carrying a 2nd clip. so, if 6-7 shots were fired then chances are they have emptied the clip. That's when you charge at the motherfricker with your knife and stab him in the fricking eyeball but keep him alive. Tie his bitch arse up, and then chop off his fingers 1 by 1. as he bleeds from his hands go ahead and put a smile on his face a la Joker, and then stab and twist the knife in his stomach. Finally before calling the cops, chop off all toes. Stop the bleeding, call the cops and let that bitch live the rest of his life with the constant reminder of the day he should have never done something stupid

send wife and child out window. Then make my way carefully towards other children. Im not going charging in because my oldest son may have been the one doing the shooting

Let's face it. If it's just a couple of street thugs, then an OTers little kids will probably handle the situation just fine. OTers are a special breed of bad arse. I probably wouldn't even roll out of bed if I were them.

Also...why is the wife defenseless in this scenario?
Granted I played competitive speedball for a few years, and have pretty good muzzle control while moving because of it, but the wife is no slouch. She can shoot out the middle of a playing card while stationary. I don't doubt she could do the same down a hallway.
In the second video I put a mag with a crap gun in the target in under two seconds at 30ft.
I do shots while running and after running to sim stress...it isnt that accurate, but I can still put them all on target off hand while moving. When so shakey I can barely breathe, i can still shoot.
Doubt thats enough for a reak scenario...but idk.
Never had to use a gun for defense. A knife..yeah. Hands and feet...yeah. I will say disarming someone with a knife is scary, thankfully most people think you just poke and slice...still scary.
