WWTOTD: Ex-roommate drama

Lived with 2 people for the last year. Wasn't really friends with either. One was set up through a friend other was totally random. They didn't really like each other and both would always complain to me about the other. I tried to stay out of it. Bills were paid and everyone generally minded their own business

Move out day is approaching and roommate A says he is moving out in a few days and says if we want to keep our internet for the last week, one of us needs to return the modem. Roommate B says he'll do it.

Roommate A just vanished taking clothes and personal items but leaving a ton of furniture. Me and roommate B assumed he was coming back with a truck or something to get rid of the other stuff. I call him the day before the lease and he says he isn't coming back and we can either move the stuff or have them take it out of security. Me and B spend like 2 hours the last day trying to get rid of stuff but we both have work in the morning and give up at like midnight leaving a lot of stuff behind.

Roommate B calls landlord and explains that all the crap is his and to only take it from his deposit.

Anyway, I get my full deposit, I know from A that he lost 300 of his, B stayed in the apartment complex(diff unit) an extra year so his is pending until next year.

Roommate A is now telling me that B won't answer him and wants me to text him. He says he never returned the cable and now Comcast is charging him $100.

I talk to B and he's still mad about the whole move out situation and says he isn't taking the router back and it's chump change compared to what he thinks he'll lose from the deposit.

A just texts me saying that B won't return the box and asking if I'll pay half of it so he doesn't have to eat the $100.

It's only $50 but should I feel bad for A or just tell him tough shite?
