WWTOTD: a kid bullied on a playground in Spain

I searched and didn't find anything.
A woman in Spain takes her son to the park, but he's bullied by other kids for being, well, different...

Kids can be assholes. I get that. However, how many parents would let their kid be bullied in front of them? The other kids' parents didn't do anything to stop the bullying (except for maybe one person).
What would have been the OT's response? At the very least, I would have yelled at the other kids or something.

Guess it would help if I spoke Spanish. They could've just been asking where the nearest KFC was.

I can say for certain that my wife would not have been that calm to the other kids. I would have been searching for the other kids' parents.

Well, you can't beat the kid up, that's for certain. You can beat the kid's dad up, though. Then your kid can throw the whole "my dad can beat up your dad" argument on lock.

If it was my kid doing the bullying, they'd get their arse whooped in front of God and everyone. Yes, kids can be dicks. We all were at some point. But there's a difference in being a little peckerhead and being a bully.

I think the parent of the bullied kid is well within his/her right to lecture the bullies. If the bully's parents get pissed off, then hit 'em with the DDT.

I saw my son get bullied in my neighborhood. He came in the house, crying to me. I said, "why are you running in here to me? Go out there and whoop his arse."
He walked out the door, tackled that little shite to the ground, and started pounding on him. That kid hasn't bothered him or his little brother since.

You just know the parents would have gotten pissed if the mom had said anything to their kids. They clearly enable the behavior.
That's probably why mom just left and said frick it.

I meant it in all honesty. You don't have your country invaded, and culture destroyed by a particular group in history and not carry some resentment
