They really don't have anyone on Smackdown positioned to be a realistic threat right now. I think Rollins is the only one they could make a legitimate threat to Roman without spending a 3 or 4 month program building someone up.
They could probably do something with Alister Black pretty quick if they wanted to, but they don't have the writers for that.

I’m totally fine with Roman holding the title until next Wrestlemania. Whoever is gonna beat him has to be special. Roman is just on another level right now
