There's no reason for these ppvs to be 27 hours long. That kills the crowd more than anything else.

India was only part of it. They were impressed with him when he came back but Raw being Raw doesn't use foreign heels well (look how up and mostly down Rusev was).
SD seems like they would have pushed him to the mid card title, but I think the India thing did help that push skip over mid card to the top.

I'm actually a fan of Mahal being champ. He has obviously worked hard, and he is a good stopgap champion until Wrestlemania when ( if WWE were smart) can hype a major Nakamura/AJ championship match. I say Jinder holds the belt til Royal Rumble (when he loses to AJ) and then AJ loses the belt to Nakamura at Wrestlemania.
