to honor our dear friend Nevilletiger... I have posthumously named him the honorary FWL Champion for 2018-19
we can continue to do FWL for the next 3 months... but nev will be the recognized champion

All Elite Wrestling had their event earlier and they definitely have my attention. They did a huge fireworks show right after. The WWE people couldn't help but notice as the arena is like right next door

I laughed when they said women would be getting paid the same as men. There's no way some nobody women is making the same as Kenny or Cody or the Bucks. Also with them working with the Chinese promotion I assume means they won't be working with NJPW or ROH. Hopefully they can at least work with Impact and one of the Mexican promotions.
Rumors that a tv deal with TNT is basically done too. Just working out a few details.

Yeah but those guys have other roles in a company well besides Kenny at the moment. About to take their word on just regular talent. When Britt Baker started talking about being a dentist, I thought she was going to mention them offering healthcare for the wrestlers

ETA: that roster needs to be bumped up more to make a real splash if they're going to try and do a top quality weekly show

that is a REALLY bad idea that they aren't allowing people to buy tickets just b/c they're wearing AEW gear... esp. if the person has agreed to buy WWE merch

One of the details is whether the show will be 60 or 90 minutes. I can see them doing a 60 minute show focusing on wrestling and using youtube and twitter to get stories over. You don't need everyone on tv every week. It makes them feel more special when they are on. Plus they can bring in the Chinese guys and some Mexicans for short term feuds here and there to mix things up. Sort of a cross of what ECW used to do and what ROH does today.
