WWE Smackdown Live Thread: Extreme Rules Go Home Edition

It's the final show before Sunday's Extreme Rules PPV... and the blue brand is in Manchester, NH tonight at the SNHU Arena
the big question that must now be answered is... what's going on with the WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules after Kofi Kingston apparently admitted in a house show last night that he's currently not cleared to wrestle due to injury... will he be clear by Sunday?
the newly-turned face Kevin Owens takes on "it shoulda been me" Dolph Ziggler
Finn Balor battles Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match
We will find out tonight who knocked on Aleister Black's door a couple week ago
There will be a tag team summit... probably not involving beer, unfortunately... with the Planet's Champions, New Day, & Heavy Machinery
Nikki Cross battles the wannabe Mrs. Corey Graves
what stupid stipulations will WWE come up with tonight? can anything top an inter-gender tag team elimination match where men can't wrestle women?

Word came out yesterday that both Johnny Impact and the LAX are done with Impact. I wonder how much money Vince will throw at them?

I think it would be a TERRIBLE idea for LAX to go to WWE

I like the LAX. They're basically the Usos but Mexican and they can wrestle. WWE needs Mexican talent who aren't a joke. I know Vince is not a fan of Konnan though.
Johnny Nitro/Morrison/Hennigan/Impact/Lucha Underground is getting old but can still work and would fit in better in today's WWE since there's more smaller guys. I think he still has heat on him from the Trish incident.
Hopefully AEW gets at least one of them but I wouldn't mind seeing them in WWE.

they need to be somewhere where they can be edgy and "hardcore"

agreed... think Nitro would work in modern day WWE... I think Nitro's a better fit in WWE with his character than LAX

Is it too much to ask for Sandow to return to WWE and died with Elias for a year? I don’t care if they ever wrestle, just give them mics and 10-15 minutes of air time each week to run each other/the crowds down.
