I'm trying to avoid spoilers for the Rumble (kinda going out of the way to avoid obvious ones too) so this might be something that's already been shot down.

I think they turned it into a 4 way so Rock can cost Roman the title without Roman eating the pin. It would be the perfect way for a chickenshit nearly 0 clean win title reign to end. It sets up those two for WM. Roman has all but said he's going on the Rock/Cena/Taker type of schedule. Getting that dream match would be Rock/Hogan or Rock/SCSA huge. Roman going over probably cements him as someone who can pull off a "show up twice a year" spot. Night 1 Main Event.

I think Randy wins the title and drops it to Cody at Mania. At this point in his career Randy is a transitional type champion. The two of them have history as well so it makes sense. Night 2 co-ME.

Seth's injury may throw a wrench into everything. They've got the Rumble so they could turn it into a Flair-winning redux. I guess this would be a way to put the title on Punk and they have already thrown some meat out there for Drew-Punk. Let Drew finally have his WM moment. Aside from sticking his finger in Tony's eye, I think the biggest reason he came back was to ME WM. Would a co-ME count?

I do wonder if Rock-Roman Kickoff Night 1 with Punk/??? ending the night. Then have the big Cody moment going off the air on Night 2.

I'll be in Chicago for the penultimate RAW. It should be a good show and IIRC the brand split gets quite soft in the lead up. It'll be the first time I've been there for him on the mic/wrestling so my oldest son and I are excited about that. Roman and Rock would be cool. I've seen Rocky Maivia up through peak Rock but I really would love for my kid to see him.


And I realize that I just jumped on here after being gone awhile. Not going to waste too much bandwidth. Things with LD just keep piling up. We discovered that only one of his appendages (R leg) wasn't affected 16 weeks ago. He's making progress and we're hoping he's better for prom. (He absolutely hates not being able to drive.)
