Unfortunately you're right. No need to invest any of my time or money into the product they have right now.
ETA: Has it leaked just how many weeks of shows they put in the can before closing up Thursday night?

That's what I thought... wasn't sure if they were able to slide a Post-WM Smackdown into the can or not. I doubt FOX would go for it but I wonder if like NASCAR, they could turn most of RAW into UpUpDownDown programming. 2K is so shitty I don't think they'd want to go that full eWWE route.
Or there's a ton of network programming they could use. I don't think too many subscribers would be mad about them airing a lot of the launch programs. They could go MST3000 with current wrestlers making comments as they show old Primetime Wrestling episodes. They could run that WWE big brother style program as the lead for the 2 hour WWE3000 program. Obviously not the best but they could do a ton worse. FOX is going to be the tricky one. They could move Backstage to fill one hour. Maybe the 2nd could be throwbacks to territory days...WCCW, FCW, and of course AWA (up until he poached Hennig and the Midnight Rockers.

I'm also curious where this year's HOF falls. Summerslam is in Boston and the Survivor Series is in Dallas. They aren't even selling tickets at this point so I suspect they'll replace the SS in Boston with MITB (and only enshrine the already announced HOF there since they won't get SS) then run SummerSlam in September. Run Extreme Rules in mid October and then pickup there normal PPV schedule (there will be hell to pay if their first major show after this is the November Saudimania.) This gives them time to spin up, develop storylines, and run a condensed summer-fall 2020 season and roll into Wrestlemania season with things back to normal.
Basically...
- MITB late August
- Summer Slam last weekend of Summer
- Extreme Rules late October
- Saudimania (I believe 11/5)
- Survivor Series the Sunday after Thanksgiving
- Maybe run a "boutique" PPV ala Evolution or airing the full Starcade.

I do wonder if the 2020-21 season is going to be run more strictly when it comes to taking chances of busting open. Will the wrestlers and public have the stomach for blood that always shows up during MITB/Extreme Rules? I guess they could just put MITB on hiatus for the season but that takes away their ability to change the title picture within hours of a decision.
I know this has been long but trying to wrap my mind around how they're going to be able to tread water with archival footage both during this crisis and the time it's going to take to spin everything up. I think only Vince knows what will happen. My kid is friends with one of their referee's kid (no, not Nicholas) so I might try to find out what he's been told.
