Gotta give it to them, this is a great way to get heat on Dean with what happened earlier

man I hope Dean doesn't start next week's show since I'm probably going to miss a couple minutes... the heat he gets next week will be NUCLEAR and I want to enjoy it

that was actually very well done... great time to turn him

He turned on Johnny Gargano after they had been a team for a while in NXT.

Sounds like you'll have to quit your job, rt3.

I could see Drew turning by the end of the year. Diesel-HBK storyline.

Elias is turning too. Dude has that Long John Silver from Black Sails thing going on.

I don’t know man. I was half impressed. Half kind of disgusted. The looks on the crowd said it all. When Ciampa turned, they were MAD. When Dean turned, they were HURT.

Also, what a shitty fricking thing to put Dean and Seth through on this night. Now we know why it looked like Seth and Dean were crying before they walked out for their entrance.

They could have waited one week, and it would have been almost as shocking without shitting on Roman’s night.

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano has been the best thing WWE's had going over the last 2 years it seems... and it's in their developmental territory

Team #DIY was a SUPER over tag team in NXT... then Ciampa turned on Gargano to start the feud

but that same night Ciampa tore his ACL so it was sitting and simmering while he recovered... they even played it up with Gargano's program with Andrade "Cien" Almas

they've been having matches at pretty much every NXT Takeover show over the last year & a half seemingly... and all of them have been damn good with lots of intrigue

So what do they do with the tag team titles now?

It looks like Dean threw them down at Seth like he didn't care about them. My guess is that Drew and Dolph talk Corbin into a rematch and they win them back in a handicap match but I guess there are many ways they could go with this.

ETA: I'll just site back and enjoy whatever happens.

go Sting/Giant WCW 1998 Great American Bash route

Seth & Dean have a singles match... winner gets both belts and right to choose new championship partner

Sting & Giant won the belts at Slamboree 1998... Sting joined nWo Wolfpac... Giant was nWo Hollywood at the time IIRC... WCW held up the belts and set up the Great American Bash match

Chioda didn’t sell that

Wrong ref. That was Chad Patton...1 of 3 referees/former refs who live within 30 miles from me. My son goes to school with his youngest son. Crazy eyed black ref works at our local pizza joint when he’s not working Indies or in India with Khali. Doan is from the area and from what I’ve heard is working in some factory after Stephanie legit fired him for being out of shape.

interesting thought... did the Reigns thing have anything to do with Elias' face turn?

quickening the pace on the Ambrose heel turn probably meant WWE needed a new mid-card face... and so they decided Elias was the 1

Evolution special was impossible to enjoy after RAW.

I sense a setup for Survivor Series with a plan that had to be put into motion tonight and it was just shitty timing. Creative is really in a bind now. We won’t accept part timers for the WM ME and with Joe gone I wonder what is plan B now if the Charlotte/Rousey ME doesn’t happen. Also something that wasn’t brought up here yet, Joe was the face of Raw. You know they are going to need to figure out who to move over from Smackdown, call up from NXT, or if they really want to surprise all of us Cody & The Elite to bring in a new era.

you have 2 "faces of Raw" ready to take Joe/Roman's spot

Braun Strowman & Seth Rollins

I think both can take over admirably

Not that my opinion matters but I'd like to see Braun with the strap. I love Seth but I want to see Braun get a shot.

I think the obvious way this goes is Braun wins the title at Crown Jewel and immediately enters a program with McIntyre (I think this will be a good series of matches)

Seth vs. Dean over the Intercontinental Championship will be the company's top feud though... like Ciampa vs. Gargano in NXT
