All were heel for awhile before hitting their boom the only exception really is Hogan, though he was a heel very early on, it was a really different era and most ppl that were watching by 85-90 had never seen it or even knew what happened unlike now when we’d all know

FWIW on Jericho’s podcast before the show they said they had tried to ask other wrestlers to main event it and they all refused, not wanting the pressure of main eventing such a loaded show

Another thing those guys had were great heels to chase when they turned babyface....Lesnar showing up for only the PPV (basically) for the last 8-12 months did Reigns no favors.
But....I agree he needs a heel run.

Ahhh that makes sense....not to mention they had to cut 12 mins off the Bucks match or so I've read because Scurll and Okada were tearing the house down for longer than they were supposed to.

They had to cut time for sure but I haven’t heard a definite answer to who went long or if it wasn’t just a combination of everyone going 1-2 minutes long

I read that Scurll/Okada went way over.....Cody will figure that out eventually....I think that was either right before or right after his match.
ETA I think WWE should go all out to get Scurll.....I think if Cody and the Bucks aren't able to produce an event like this regularly they won't come to the WWE which i think is the case.
