I thought it was pretty clearly time to move it off of him and the Fiend is a good place to put it, hopefully they see they and are just trying to wait til a bigger PPV like Survivor series or something


Bad thing is If they aren’t careful the fiend is gonna end up being the face in the match

So I finally got to watch the main event for myself last night.

The match itself, before the ending was fine. The crowd was absolutely shitty though. I notice this about the majority of WWE crowds though. They get the casual crowd in, but they have zero zest or passion. That was a phenomenal main event up until the finish.

I get why they had the finish they did. The Fiend is the 2019 Becky. Becky was suppose to come off as a heel last year and the rest is history. They had to capitalize on the fact that he’s the hottest act going, but him taking the title off a face is not what the fans or the character needs. He needs to take it off of the perfect heel.

Now that finish. Yeah it was shite. You know how you end that PPV? Right as Seth goes to strike the chairs, the lights go dark for a full 20 seconds, the screeching siren hits, you hear the laugh, the lights come back on and The Fiend is gone.

We don’t see him for weeks, for months. Little teases of the funhouse characters in the background is all we see. January comes. Royal Rumble comes. Entrant 30 is the Fiend. He clears the ring.

Firefly funhouse segments with him not saying who he’ll challenge at all. Night after Elimination Chamber. We have Brock Lesnar in the ring with Lesnar after he survived his first Chamber match. You know where I’m going with this.

Lesnar vs. The Fiend WM Main Event. If you are going to put the title on a part time wrestler, put it on one who can captivate an audience in between defenses.

WM 2021 is The Fiend vs. Taker in Taker’s retirement match.

The Fiend will be fine. They wanted to make him look strong. They're still going to push him. And he doesn't have to wrestle every week.
