WWE Friday Night Smackdown Thread | Actually Wanting to Fight The Fiend Edition

Before we get into tonight's show preview... some big Raw news...
WWE continues to try and make random MSG house shows special by having a title change hands there... and last night was no different as Rey Mysterio, Jr. dropped the United States Championship to Andrade "Cien" Almas for Almas's 1st main roster championship victory
Tonight's Smackdown is live from Little Caesar's Arena in Detroit, Mich.
The Miz, Daniel Bryan, & Baron Corbin battle in a triple threat match to determine the #1 contender to The Fiend & the Universal Championship... and who knows why any of these guys would want that esp. since The Fiend fingered both Miz & Corbin after SD went off air last week
unfortunately... for these 3 guys... it's all just to see who the Fiend will feast on prior to the big match everyone assumes is coming at Mania... Reigns vs. Fiend
Only other thing previewed for tonight's show is the return of "A Moment of Bliss" as short blonde Alexa Bliss interviews tall blonde Lacey Evans... as both wonder why either of them are currently faces

I know Christmas at G's was so festive this year b/c he had to have the 6-hour Firefly Fun House Yule Log playing on his TV as the gifts were dispensed and food eaten

This week's Raw hit an all time record low rating. Not a huge deal since it was a taped show during Christmas week but not good either.

the only ratings forced move that could happen in the near term I believe will be Fox sending Smackdown to FS1
Fox hasn't been close to hitting the numbers it wants WWE to hit
