So... some WWE news before we kick things off here

Big Daddy Dave Meltzer is apparently reporting that Kairi Sane was more at fault for the failed move in the Raw taping that led to her getting busted open in a match against Nia Jax

Obviously Nia's long & storied history of injuring other wrestlers made this more of a story than maybe it would've been otherwise... and opinions could really change if WWE shows the full incident on Raw this Monday... but at least at this point it seems the injury is on Kairi for trying to be a bit more show-y

Also... it seems WWE is trying to get back on the road with some semblance of real audiences sometime before the end of July... but that of course is subject to change

AEW's next PPV, Fyter Fest, was apparently supposed to be in England, but obviously those plans are now scrapped... and AEW also had plans to start a house show circuit... but again those plans are on hold

Smackdown tonight is from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla.

We find which 2 competitors will go to the finals to determine the new Intercontinental Champion as Jeff Hardy takes on Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles takes on Elias

I want a D-Bry/AJ Finals match so badly... the Intercontinental Championship deserves the type of match I feel those 2 can put on together... esp. at a PPV

We go into the deepest, darkest space for wimminz feuds... the twitterz... to find out that there's now beef between the Sassy Southern Belle Lacey Evans and Dolph's lesbian friend Sonya Deville... so they'll have a match tonight

There will be Tag Team Championships galore on this week's Moment of Bliss as Alexa & Nikki welcome in the reigning, 8-time WWE/SD tag team champions... the New Day

After Wednesday night's brutal Fight Pit match loss, Matt Riddle is expected to get a call-up to Smackdown as soon as tonight... so we can start looking forward to his arrival to the blue brand

Lacey is one of those women you just don’t pull out of, if the opportunity presents itself.

Oh and I’ll have a trivia question tonight.

And rT3 I have a proposal for you tonight.

I will not cheer for the Panthers in any way shape or form (unless they're playing the Falcons... maybe the Bucs too now)

A second TV show and house shows? That’s not a lighter schedule at all, Mr. Kahn.

I watched an old AJ Styles Bullet Club match against The Kingdom (Adam Cole, Taven, Mike Kanellis/Bennet) in ROH today, pretty good stuff.

Also
I’ve successfully booked Tyson-Jericho. You’re welcome

Early word on Double or Nothing buyrate is that its up 10% from Revolution. Looks to be in the 110,000-115,000 range which would be the second biggest ppv in their history behind only last year's DoN.

There's a report that Smackdown taped a big match for next week, probably the IC title match, that was amazing. No word on the wrestlers but obviously AJ is one of them. I think he can have a great match with either Bryan or Jeff Hardy so it doesn't matter who wins there.

I would imagine that AJ would still be considered a heel (though now would be as good a time as any to turn him face)

I would expect Sheamus to cost Jeff to continue that feud

heck... a long term AJ/DB feud over the IC belt could really elevate that title back to where it belongs in the hierarchy

Hi greenie! I'm, uh ... OK, I'll admit it. I'm watching a little pre-Smackdown Forensic Files.

I got called a neo-Nazi last night on Facebook! I'm not really into the socialism thing all that much, though.

How have the crowdless shows been? I'm not sure that I'll be able to make it to the end lol.

AEW immediately went to having all the jobbers socially distanced in the crowd... which REALLY helped the presentation a lot

WWE... JUST THIS WEEK... started doing that too with NXT trainees... it was better but still felt weird b/c the reactions from the NXT'ers felt so rehearsed to me

Well, WWE started putting some NXT rasslers in the crowd on Monday Night, following the lead of what AEW has been doing since the shutdown started. I tend to think it leads to a little bit better atmosphere. Definitely not the same as having a crowd, though.

Yeah. All the faces cheered and all the heels being booed with no one who had a differing opinion.
