Wut? Chihuahuas are VERY aggressive. They’re just too damn small to do much harm. I guarantee you they will gnaw on a fence, your pants, etc. My neighbor had chihuahuas. Those are the most worthless dogs. At that point, I’d just get a cat.

Like it or not trash, the numbers are on my side. If pits were such great dogs, why are most dogs that are up for adoption pits? No one wants them or likes them, except you trash.

Of course, just like if any dog bit someone. I would be responsible and take accountability. I love my dog more than any human outside my family, but if she seriously hurt someone out of pure aggression, I would put her down. That will never happen though.

I picked up a stray from my old place of work. Vet said ‘he had a lot of pit in him’. I asked him if there was reason for concern, and he said not really as long as I keep him in a secure backyard.
He’s an inside dog. He’s been fixed. He’s 7 years old. We have another dog that’s a border collie mix. She’s 3. She’s the aggressor of the two pups. If we don’t watch, she’ll chew on him like she does a rawhide. He’s a couch potato. He has never had issue with kids. I’ve owned several dogs in my time, and he’s probably among the least aggressive. He’s definitely the most loving and loyal.
If you don’t like pits, don’t get one. If you’re afraid of them, then stay away from areas where idiots let their dogs run loose. I think if you live in a nice neighborhood, you typically don’t see dogs out and about.

Those dogs in the shelters weren’t born in Petri dishes. They were born because irresponsible fricking idiots didn’t spay or neuter their mutts.

let me break it down for you as simple as possible:
people of lower socioeconomic classes gravitate toward pitbulls
these same people let the dogs breed basically at will
the dogs end up being turned over for adoption
a shelter dog is fixed and given a good home helping to alleviate the problem while obviously not completely solving it
If you keep going through life judging books by their covers and not being able to look past the surface level you aren't likely to find as much joy and fulfillment from it as being open-minded and looking at the big picture. You are literally calling me a trashy person for nothing more than helping out by adopting a dog and giving it a good home. It is okay to disagree with the decision to adopt a pitbull, but the automatic label of trashy or lesser than you is incredibly ignorant
