Schedule an appointment with your primary care physician at their next opening. It's not emergent, but i would have it looked at soon.


ETA- appointment with a dermatologist is not necessary unless
1) you're already established with a dermatologist
2) your PCP vehemently detests doing any form of dermatological work

2 options. Get a sharp knife and slice it off (get under the skin but don't hit muscle)

Or burn it and the cover it with air tight adhesive (super glue or duct tape)

This dude evidently wants you to die. PCPs don't specialize in derm, and while they can handle/get right a lot of stuff, they won't know the simple stuff from the complex stuff that just looks simple. See a derm.

I think you're confusing PCPs and NPs. Your PCP will know their limits and know when to refer.
