2 weeks in and it feels like the last 24 hours have seen this spiraling into mass destruction at a while other level. I trust those who are planning and executing what are have been directed to do. I do not trust the other side to act rationally. It is becoming messy and I suspect there are some things being hidden from the world on both sides of the conflict.
I'll be spending tomorrow on the road so there won't be updates until tomorrow night or Sunday morning. Hopefully tomorrow will be relatively uneventful compared to the last 2 days.

Are these people really this illogical or are they just being purposely obtuse?
This position of the US was forced into this operation against our will because Israel decided to YOLO with their military is just astoundingly stupid with no foundation in logic.
This was planned for months in advance of the initiation of hostilities. Israel didn't drag the US into anything. They proposed a pre-emptive strike against a very real threat to World Safety overseen by one of the most evil regimes in history.
If the US would have said no, Israel would not have gone it alone.
The only reason this conflict is happening is because the US (Trump's Cabinet) decided it was good for the US and the World.

To be fair... Japan destroyed the same ship (Yorktown) 4 times within like a month
Once at Coral Sea (Nimitz telling the repair crew they had 48 hours to make it seaworthy after they told him it'd take several weeks)
Two separate times by air attack at Midway (the Japanese actually believed they destroyed 2 separate carriers... that's how good of a job the fire control team on Yorktown did getting the situation under control)
Once more (the final blow) by submarine attack as it was being towed away from Midway
