It's like a soap opera with steroids and tights.
All sorts of entertainment is scripted. I never understood the attraction either but there's not much I do like anymore.

when the premise of a discussion starts with a condescending question like "what's with all these adults interested in fake fighting" then no amount of explanation will suffice because yall have already made up your mind.
The point of this thread isn't to legitimately discuss why we love wrestling or try to understand it. It's to make people feel smarter about not being a fan of something they deem "below" them.

Anybody that thinks wrasslin is fake obviously didn't see the top notch care paramedics gave to Stephanie last night after Ronda almost ripped her arm from the socket. That splint was a work of art. #realheroes
