quote:Oh I know. The way they went about this year's is what I have a problem with. Terms with Minneapolis had already been worked out and then Vegas came in and took it. Going to NOLA next year (when they're already obligated to give Indy one) seems like such an unforced error.

Vegas stole it from MSP by bribing TKO at the last minute.
This is how all major WWE ppv sites are chosen now. Some local tourism commission pays the WWE to come to their city.
I suspect Brock will headline next year's HOF Class and have his retirement match. I think he puts Oba Femi over as the next big thing. I can't think of anyone else who's left from that area. They've already put in the HOF worthy Mid-South guys. I can't think of anyone from Memphis. Cornette will no doubt be one of the inductees in Indy if gotta no other reason than he can drive up from Louisville instead of getting on a plane. (He discussed it on one of his December podcasts.)

quote:Considering most of them were at WM40 which was a huge success I wouldnt say that. HHHs roster is way more stacked with talent than Vinces.
But I dont think this current crop of wrestlers has anything compelling for a big show.

The stories going into the big events have generally been much better. And the two night format seems to work really well. I anticipate this being a monster event for the city and the best experience of the 3 WMs that NOLA has seen thus far.
WM 30 was great but that really was a different era and things were done on a smaller scale. WM 34 with its length and quality became forgettable overall. This one will be different and will likely feel on the level of the Super Bowl.
