Any more details on this big wreck and subsequent snarlup? Was the 18-wheeler driver ticketed? Who was he? Why did he wreck?
Such lazy reporting by our local news when big rig accidents due to unqualified drivers have been occurring en masse.

I know yall want to bash truckers at every chance, but people have become way too comfortable with changing multiple lanes at exits because theyre driving distracted. It would not surprise me if someone hit the trucks steer tires and caused him to lose control.
Just today I had two very close calls with people exiting from the middle lane across the nose of my truck to get to a ramp. Its beyond absurd.

I’m 100% behind the truckers. It’s a tough and risky job working the roads alongside the clowns on their phones or drinking, etc. I have much respect and drive very responsibly when I’m sharing the road with them.
But we have zero information here. Was it someone else’s fault? Who the hell knows! But I do know is that we have a lot of people who can’t speak English and wearing flip flops driving big rigs with rubber stamped CDLs.
Is Coulter’s law in effect at this point with this story?

Anybody ever hear who the driver was, who he worked for and what caused this wreck?
I just read the interstate is going to be closed overnight Thursday for repairs.

you can quit knighting for them, now.
No disrespect to the good truck drivers on the road, but I've seen way more frickwit truck drivers than good ones. Every single day on I12 there are multiple big rigs taking up three lanes with total disregard for other vehicles. GTFOOTW! And the majority of truckers I drive next to or behind are swerving lane to lane. Not making excuses for shitheads in autos, but truckers by and large suck shite as well.
