This is a homerun and has completely made me forget about AEW.
I hope the day he fights the Undertaker and wins, he makes his lamp the head of the Undertaker.
This gimmick is so good he doesnt even need a fricking belt.

They have to figure out a way to not treat him like a wrestler. For most of his career, Taker never made any appearances outside of TV, to protect his character.
The skeptic in me says that he has a pretty low ceiling because a character like that being a main draw just doesn’t jive with their modern day marketing strategy. Let’s say they put the belt on him at Wrestlemania, is he going to go on The Today Show as the face of the company?
He is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in WWE in a really long time, though.

Sounds like to me they need to change their strategy. Record losses reported last quarter.
AEW was on their arse in terms of garnering attention and with this absolute home run, I can hear crying all the way from Jacksonville.

He won't need a belt and shouldn't have a belt. Let Reigns or Rollins or Lesnar be the marketing draw.
They need to pretty much limit him to PPV and occasional promos. he should almost never be in a match on Raw or Smackdown.
I did see a tease from Aleister Black about a feud.
A match between the Fiend and Demon Balor next Mania could steal the show.

Totally agree. But, if they won’t, characters like The Fiend can’t thrive. They want the champ on tv everywhere, doing make-a-wish stuff, and being a crossover pop culture personality.
But, then again, I don’t think The Fiend should even care about a belt. If he’s a monster that just wants to hurt people, why the hell would he care about Money In The Bank, or being in a tag team? He should just be a force that shows up and wrecks shite. But give WWE 2 months and he’ll be teaming with The Club to take on New Day, or a lumberjack in the smack down main event.

What's the reason for taking jabs at AEW? I came in here excited to talk about Bray and you're shitting on AEW for no reason. Why can't we just enjoy wrestling?

Yea it's really hard to trust them after seeing them ruin Asuka, Braun, Roode, etc.

I like what they’ve done with this character, but I just want the original version of Bray back. That character was perfect and they completely fricked it up. He should have never lost to Cena at 30. His character was the 2nd hottest thing to Bryan

Wasnt taking jabs at AEW. I just forgot all about them with this new gimmick, its just that good and im trying to point that out.
Its funny you say that because I was (and still is) very Pro-AEW.

ETA: as for The Fiend... this character has been done perfectly so far... let cardigan-wearing Bray cut promos from the Firefly Fun House on the weekly TV shows and let The Fiend scare people at every major PPV event

I loved it. WWE needs to take a long look at what they've got with him now. A real monster heel.
