Have a son in 2nd grade. Take him 25 minutes south to a small town called Needville for school. Pass 2 elementary schools on the way.Turn around and come back within a mile of my house then 35 minutes to Katy for work,
In Needville they say the pledge of Allegiance. Sing the Star Spangled banner. Stand up for the flag, celebrate Veterans and Memorial days. No DEI bullshite. No chance of a drag show. No politicsl bullshite teachers. And..,,,, have corporal punishment. That’s right, corporal punishment.
I would drive an hour one way if I had to.

Common in Metairie if your kids go to your alma mater in Nola.
Which will be predominately Catholic schools regardless of your faith.
