They forgot to put a truck bed on it.

Like an overland sleeper? I think the Bison model has all that…for the people that want to appear outdoorsy.

They basically made a bigger, more powerful, and better equipped version of the Colorado ZR2, which is a good thing.

This. And the Colorado ZR2 was already crazy capable. Very excited for this truck, although I do prefer the GMC side of the brand. Supposedly they will be coming out with a comparable, the AT4X.

Hell yes, I would drive it. But like others said, I'm not forking over friggin' $70K for a pickup truck. I can do without the high tech self-steering stuff.

To me, this would be about equal to dropping $4000 on a Glock 17 (with loads of unnecessary add-ons). But that's just me.

Doesn't come close to a Raptor or Dodge TRX.

It’s got a lot of features those trucks don’t have or can’t match, such as a Multimatic DSSV shocks and a locking front differential.

They also look to be going after the overlanding crowd more than the Craptor or Ram TRX. The Silverado ZR2 is more similar to the Jeep Gladiator or the Chevy Colorado ZR2.

WTF? GM has my favorite interior.

GM trucks have the worst interior of the three American made trucks. Ram being the best. I have a 2018 F-150 Platinum and some of the interior in it is no different than an XL model.

Looks like a great truck but I can never go back to a gas burner half ton after having several F-250 diesels. Nothing else compares.

I imagine you’d get similar repair bills with a 20 year old BMW 750 or Jaguar XJ if you wanted the Ford Powerstroke experience in a gas vehicle.

If I had to have a half ton gas burner then Chevy/GMC would be the only way to go but I love the Powerstroke and the room the F-250 has. A friend of mine just bought a Dodge Cummins Night edition though and I’ve got to admit that Dodge has really upped their game.

It's the same system that Cadillac has been selling for years. It works great and has had excellent reviews for years. You basically just have to sit there and let the vehicle drive itself on the highway.

Yep people that talk shite about self driving features just haven't used them properly.

Its a huge benefit to drive thru bumper to bumper traffic like the interstate thru Baton Rouge and never once have to touch the brake or steering wheel. Also adaptive cruise control out on the highway is a game changer. I've done miles and miles of grid lock traffic and just let the vehicle do its thing.

I had those features on a company provided Subaru and Toyota Camry and I have been patiently waiting for it filter up to trucks so I can buy a truck with it.
