Would you chose a school based on what athletic company sponsors them?

As long as they aren't sponsored by Adidas. Whoever runs the Adidas licensing department needs to be fired tomorrow.

Why would they choose a school based on shoes? Is it the aesthetics or performance?

UA shoes are terrible. And it's all about the shoes with basketball man (as far as the kids are concerned)

I'm sure it plays a small role. Having those crazy jerseys has probably helped Oregon lure players somewhat.

If you're a serious athlete then yes, you care about the equipment you're using.

UA seems perfectly fine to me, after all as the article notes Stephen Curry uses them. But I can certainly see why it would matter.

So it's a performance issue and not branding or aesthetics?
