I bought a truck with a salvage title once. 1994 Ford F150, bought in 1999 with 25K miles. It ran fine. The guy who fixed it up was a mechanic.
I had it about 3 years. The frame had been welded on it, and after about 3 years it started to stress. I had it welded and then sold it.

Not for a primary vehicle ,but for a second hand/camp/farm/off road vehicle than sure.

I drive a salvage titled converted to rebuilt titled vehicle every day and on long trips. Haven't really had to do shite to it except normal maintenance shite but i am a mechanic so....
