I've never had what I'd call an exemplary boss. My first boss was in way over his head and wasn't a good leader.
When I left that company my second boss was a egomaniacal a-hole. The running joke was our HR had to shift the former employee files to the bottom of the file cabinet so it didn't tip over. I watched him fire one of the girls in the office because she refused to make his salad for him. Hired a company to come in and do a review of our efficiency to prove how great of a leader he was. Never heard anything about it after they came. One of the guys found the report and it basically said he created a toxic work environment which was detrimental to the organization. Ended up getting canned after the owner found him using company funds to pay his house note among other things.

I still work for a guy (I'm still in high school so yes fast food) but he might be the worst owner/businessman I've ever seen. Over 20 health code violations the last time I went and looked, most of everything is either broken, half broke, or will shock you if you turn it the wrong way. Unwilling to spend money on employees or on the actual company. Been working for this guy for 3 years and been loyal as hell but the dude is a jackass

Huge ego-maniac, somehow and for some unknown reason a newspaper stopped by to do a story on all the hard work we admins had done to make this site grow and the owner/boss/douchabag insisted on being photographed for the article, we had to go buy a big arse desk and move it into the office so he could sit behind it and take a pic. Then he left and that fricking desk has never been used again.
Dude was an absent owner,, left these two fricking idiots in charge 98% of the time. One was a fat drunk frick who constantly cursed and took 5 hours lunch breaks to tranny titty bars. The other one was a weather obsessed metro sexual.

My last boss is/was a two faced bitch. She would try and make it look like it was your stupidity when she didn't understand a problem/issue. She asked "why are you was so private about my personal life"?..my response was DO YOU BLAME ME!!?? I am glad I am out of that circus.

Worked for a couple assholes and also worked for two guys 15 years younger than me who had no clue how to run a business. That's when I said I will start working for myself and it's best thing I ever did.

One of my first bosses after undergrad sexually harassed the secretary to the point where she quit, leaving our office without a secretary.
