just cash it in
i have had 5 signers in my time gambling, and i have NEVER claimed them. They don't give me back all the cash i lost, so i ain't paying for gambling wins.
If you are scared, then cash it in, and ask a friend who works at one of the horse tracks to keep losing tickets. You give them some cash, they collect enough to where you can claim those lost tickets vs that win, and you pay ZERO in taxes.
