I'm confused. So if these larger than life women are proud of being fat then why are they running to lose weight because if you're a dedicated runner you ain'y gonna be fat. Just seems like a photo op with an agenda to me.

People run for many reasons that don't involve weight loss. No need for confusion.

But if they are serious about running for some other reason than losing weight then it seems losing weight would be a secondary asset. I don't think fat people go run to help out their cardiovascular system and then go home and stuff themselves to stay fat because they are proud to be that way.

That's the confusing part.
