This isn't just women. Not even close. Men do this more than women.

Women think that what they find attractive in men, so will men find attractive of women

So women are attracted to men who have successful careers, and therefore think that if they have a successful career, men will be attracted to them because of that.

That's not how it works. The only criteria of attraction for men is looks. That's it. Men aren't attracted to your career, or your education, or anything other than how hot you are.

This is why so many women who focus only on their career in their 20s are miserable in their 30s because they have hit the wall and all of the eligible bachelors their age are either locked down or going after younger women that haven't hit the wall yet. So then this leads to angry articles on news websites written by angry feminists about how men need to "man up" and "commit" to strong independent successful career women in their 30s instead of chasing after "immature" younger women in their 20s.

Just go to the Bachelor subreddit on reddit and look at all the posts shaming the producers of the show for having so many female contestants in their 20s, and how the show needs to only have mature women who are ready to settle down on there.
