Yeah. I bet she has a salary of 35k. Doing the good work for a city of the impoverished.
I bet dollars to donuts her “salary” to manage this non profit is north of 90k.
Then she has two other similar cons running as well.
If she don’t make $200k a year from that, chalk me up to be real real surprised.
I looked up Nyx's 990 and she paid herself $70k in 2018. It was up from $50k in 2017, so I'm sure it just keeps going up.

For the sake of argument, I looked it up, and none of the Endymion officers are paid.
Endymion 990

Hurr durr you don’t know how charities work. They all see 30% increases in salaries year over year.

Endymion’s expenses exceed their revenue and it’s a part-time gig for their officers. IJS it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison.
Julie made Nyx her full time job and dedicates herself to growing the organization and the footprint on the city.
Also it’s not y’all’s money so why do y’all care what we do with ours?

According to that she works full time every week at Nyx. Must not have any time for anything else. Two other organizations you say? Let’s add up all these work hours.

Go read that 990. You can see where the expenses are going. Hint. It ain’t going to charities and scholarships.

Going down the rabbit hole:
Bacchus - no paid officers.
Cleopatra - two officers paid ~$25k each
Iris - Captain paid $130k, Chair paid $90k
Muses - no paid officers
Orpheus - one of the Board Members is paid $55k
Tucks - no paid officers
D'Etat - no paid officers

Wow. What do these two actually do?

I don’t know the Iris parade but for $220k in salary they better be sponsoring and fundraising a ton of crap in the city besides lining up a parade. Apparently the going rate for that is 70k

Iris has 220k in Officer pay but have a badly made Wordpress site. How amazing.

That one is odd.

They have almost no other expenses outside of the actual parade day stuff.
Out of $2.3M in expenses, they paid $31k in insurance, $3k in office expenses, and $40k on accounting fees.
The remaining $2M on what looks like the parade (floats, costumes, etc.).

Oh my man. That’s called the Home-Office Parade. See at the higher levels of the matured con...you get this.

Me too with DiamondDog today. Earlier he was just figuring out that Nola parade floats aren't decorated by a bunch of baws on a weekend by putting up pretty paper and poster board painted signs on a rusty trailer. He probably also thought the line up process involved Frankie dropping his peeps off at a waiting group of floats in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot.
Now he's a damn investigative reporter helping let the world know how it all really works and it's a big con game.

Well it's listed as a 501c non profit so tax payers might care if they are skirting the system

Lol I don’t proclaim to know everything but you tell me you run a city based charity, pay yourself 130k and don’t keep an office.
I’m just gonna day that’s fraud. But whatever. Ride a float. I don’t give two hells.
