Lol so first you argue that the anecdote is not true. Now you're saying that there is nothing wrong with the car/food stamp issue in the anecdote. Make up your mind

I mean people who are obviously capable of working. Was he physically disabled? Was he a total retard? No so he could do SOMETHING other than steal money from taxpayers. Also, he should be buying all generic shite not name brand food. If there is going to be welfare they need to get bags of rice and blocks of cheese from the government store.

frick that is something to surely be so salty about. A fricking Camry? The nerve.

Listen, I get than many many game the system, and we'd love to see that cut down;however, it isn't fair to lump the majority into this group. A lot of people getting assistance are getting just that, some assistance.

At least the money is staying in the U.S. I get much more pissed off at the money we waste on Cuba and Iran.

The whole system is fricked up, and it's meant to be that way. The Welfare trap is real

Food stamps used to be far more restrictive. People had to use actual coupons instead of a card, and most people were too proud to do it.

You don't know that tbough. It is different from state to state, and takes all kinds of things I to account. She gets SNAP benefits from the USDA. Dont know if that is food stamps as yall refer to, but she describes it as coupons from the gov't. Here are some of the things they take into consideration:

Nah, brah. You and she have no idea what that guys story is. Family illness. Out of a job and looking for another. Getting a little help to tide him over. Who knows. There are literally thousands if not more legitimate reasons that he might need a little help. There is no way to know if he is abusing it just looking at the guy. And it isn't his responsibility to spill his entire story on de

You think I haven't had my hard times throughout my life? There were plenty of times when the money for me and my young family didn't stretch from my regular paycheck. Do you think I ask for government asisstance? Do you think I made extra income through illicit activities? Absolutely not...I cut back, prioritized my expenditures, hustled for extra money through side jobs, and sought better jobs which provided me with the opportunity to learn a marketable skill. Your mentality is weak and you and the people who share your sentiment are the reason why this country is imploding on itself...I'm done...

You deaf? Guy said he was putting in 56 hour weeks.

Also, Kix is not name brand. That is, at best, 4th tier cereal.

Not that I want people to be chowing down on sushi, but if they were forced to only consume the above, day in and day out, there would be a lot of future medical bills down the line.

You clearly have no perspective of what hard times means to some people. If people like you were in charge the poor and the indigent would be executed or at best be left to starve on the street. You don't even try to understand that the fact that you had the opportunity to learn a marketable skill is an advantage that some people don't have. You are too arrogant to understand that but for the grace of God that could be you. I'm not saying that's this guy. Or there aren't people taking advantage. But you don't know that either. Or I guess according to you you do already know everything.

I am not going to blame someone who is feeding their kid. Blame the government. It's their fricked up system

frick that count right in her mouth.

She has no idea what's going on, but more importantly, she has NO idea how much of her paycheck is being used for social services such as welfare.

Spoiler - it's not a lot.

The Welfare Cadillac story is an invention brought by conservative politicians that poor white people eat up and claim they see it all the time.
