any thought to reddman's comment on inability to locate a witness?
Don't believe the witness exists.

shouldn't that then make any talk about it irrelevant?
Maybe I just have a high standard

please explain what you mean here? I might just be dumb but I don't know what you mean
A person with multiple prior felony convictions, which come up immediately on the stand. This basically shows the jury what they all want to know, which is that this is a career criminal. Fuller has successfully used clients in this situation and had them basically say "yea, I'm no angel. I'm probably an a-hole, but I didn't do this."

the talk is actually extremely relevant cause it shows me how full of shite fuller has been since april.

For the record, I've had my doubts as well.

There isn't really any situation for him to bring it up except if he tries to just throw it out there in closing. That would be very risky though, because that's the kind of stuff Rodrigue feeds off of (she's the best closer in the building).
I think it's nothing more than a continuation of the breadcrumbs he's dropped the media since the beginning of this thing.

so she's the Mariano Riveria of the NODA's office?

Knowing what I know now, I wonder how long she will work on Suhday?
Tweet from Foret. Looks like Hayes is definitely taking the stand.

State rests in the Hayes case.

Something like that. She originally took heat in the press because of her maiden name (though she worked there before he was elected), but no media ever questioned it as nepotism again once they saw her in rebuttal. That, and she tries more than anyone else there, state or defense I'd imagine.

She was the prosecutor in the murder trial my wife was a juror on. Wife couldn't stop talking about how convincing Rodrigue was.
Napoli was the prosecutor in the trial I was a juror on.

Recess to last about 10 minutes.
That means at least 20.

This one goes all day tomorrow and at least some of Sunday.
ETA: More than likely due to jurors being sequestered.

It's the judge's discretion, and she's definitely going to poll the jury on it as part of that decision. If she thinks it'll wrap up by Sunday, she'll push them to do it to get home to their families.

i'm imagining them coming back from recess, buras begins, Fuller dramatically writes something down on a piece of paper and sends Daniels running out of the court room.
