Tobacco didn’t spread globally until about 500 years ago. Meanwhile, alcohol has been around in various forms for thousands of years. It’s literally ingrained in our culture. In fact, the act of boiling water to make it was credited with expansion of civilization.

This bothers me a lot. I get horrible sleep if I drink even a little bit. I don't give a shite about a hangover, but I hate feeling tired all day.
