My battery is somewhat new and was wondering if a Battery Tender would help charge the battery. I noticed the "low voltage remove battery" sign on my dashboard.I am fairly new to european cars and need some advice.

Get autozone to check your alternator. I just put a new battery in the wife's German car and holy shite was that expensive. Id do anything to not have to replace said beast.

Just fixed a warning like that on my car. The connections at the posts had loosened up a bit. Tightened them down and boom, it hasn't came back.

It depends on your definition of "fairly". If you car is not in warranty, then I'm going to assume your battery is going out/dead. Just go to autozone and get a new one for $100.

Yes but it won't fix the underlying problem. Battery Tenders are good for cars that are rarely driven or something like a lawn tractor that sits for the winter.

I bought a 100$ smart battery charger. It can charge 4,10,20,40 amps, check your alternator, and it can desulfate a battery which i have given life to more than a few batteries that way. Doesnt work all the time but i am still running a battery that died and i revived it.
