I am sure this is not correct but the bottom of that garage looks like its below street level.

It's below the middle of the street for sure.

It’s not. Maybe 8-12” above the street.

Correct. The house it belongs to is on the other side of the alley.

Ah, makes sense. Looks like the Raptor parked in the gutter.

I'm always amazed the sedan drivers that don't think of where they are parking.

I mean, it’s street parking. It’s not like he pulled into a ditch.

Pretty much is. On some streets those drainage basins are 24" below the middle of the street.

Shouldn't be, but subsidence and all.

Not at all. The spot he’s parked on is relatively new. It might be 6-8” below the crest of the street. This intersection, possibly all of Calhoun, is a flood zone when the park doesn’t pump its rain water well. Shoot 3-4 years ago we had ankle deep water in our first floor. First time in 100 years of the houses existence. When the park gets a flash flood, they haven’t done anything to push that water anywhere but away from the park, which is surrounded by homes. It’s a terrible drainage plan.

Surprised the new road doesn't help, they have been redoing the drainage.

I would bet going through the park sucks, especially with all the rain we have had. Nothing is soaking in.

I know what you’re taking about on some streets but not this one. I used to park at the end of that street when we would go to the park
