You got the Covid baw! False negative on your test. Do the real up your nose to your brain swab and not the pussy nostril swab one. It’s not that bad and you really need to know if you got the China flu.

Quit fighting! You didn’t get the best one. You got the rapid test which is not the best. Or get blood work done for antigens. You better find out soon si they know how to treat you ASAP.

I did a PCR which I was told was the better COVID test. It was negative also

The wife and I got sick this morning. Fever, body aches and a tickle cough. I am assuming Rona but have no idea how we would have got it. We wear our masks everywhere (Not because we believe in science, but it is required). The Mrs. uses hand sanitizer like we used to use lube in our 30s. We are both mid fifties now.

Any other symptoms besides fever?

Not really. A little weak after trying to stay busy but nothing drastic. One time yesterday hit 101. Not a bad day. Have been getting slowly better but it’s the slowly that gets me. I think I’m still gonna schedule bloodwork with my GP

Had the same thing back in November, tested negative for flu and Covid. It ended up being CMV. Took almost a month to shake it off.

I tested positive for the China flu on Thursday and have to say it feels like really bad allergies for me. worse part is at night

What type of test did you have to take to find this out Gruber

Don’t know what you got, but sounds miserable. I’ve read it is good to let your fevers go untreated because that is your immune system making unfavorable conditions for virus to exist. That from a Covid nurse. Anyway, I’d stay close to my doc, drink plenty of water, gatoraid, and broth, rest and stay away from people. Get well soon.

Hope you’re doing better now. The odds of having that many false negatives are possible, just unlikely. I would have thought for sure the PCR would have popped positive. Either way, you obviously have something going on. Medical advice is to play it safe and isolate as much as possible until you’re no longer febrile so you don’t get others sick. If you were positive for Covid, the guidelines state to isolate for 10 days from the start of symptoms and D/C isolation on the 11th day provided that symptoms are improving and you are 24 hours afebrile and without the use of meds that mask symptoms.
