He sucked and he ruined a beautiful girl with a magnificent voice.

What do I win?

Whitney's brother said she was doing coke way before she ever met Bobby. She just wasn't wild with it like she was later in life.

I think more recent information was that she turned him on to the drug shite.

Anyway, the correct answer is because he was a loudmouth wannabe-thug douche.

But his music was right.

Also, the piece about Whitney is a straight bs. She had great pr, but she was a druggie from the beginning. She was heavy into crack before Bobby. He didn't introduce Whitney to anything. When they met, they were so terrible for each other that they led each other straight into the depths of addiction for about 2 decades, practically ruining each other's careers. Bobby may have been called the bad boy, and Whitney may have been called America's sweetheart, but she was just as bad as Bobby, if not probably even worse when it came to the drugs.

Beautiful women are viewed differently for the same sins.

Makes ya go insane but... there's no one to blame.

He was one of the best back in the 80's. I remember working at Ryans in BR back then and across the road was some kind of music shop. I checked out for lunch and went pay my 20 for that cassette tape and wore it out.

He didnt start beating whitney until way later. Dont confuse his younger days with his crack days. I dont think he was even doing music when he married whitney. Nothing any good at least. Just smoking the crack rock.

The Don’t Be Cruel album was loaded with greatness. That was his pinnacle. After that he started losing his voice and music was very mediocre.
