Once again, stop changing what WAFB stated.

They didn’t say they were at historic highs.

They stated that they “increased to record high”.

Are egg prices at record highs?

If you can’t answer that question, I’m going to start questioning the graduates LSU puts out…well, more than I already do, at least.

Looking at that chart would you disagree right now that egg prices are in the 95th percentile of egg prices over the last 10 years?

Don't give a shite who is president or why chickens died. It is 100% ok to say bird flu caused dead chicken who caused egg prices to jack up. President is irrelevant

frick, blame Biden for the bird flu? Perfectly fine. He killed more birds and Clinton's killed aides.

That isn’t what anyone in this thread has stated.

That isn’t what WAFB stated.

I think you might be retarded.

Scruffy seems riled.

Scruffy should take a chill pill and calm down.

Like eggs, records are expensive.

This thread isn’t even political for me.

At this point, it is solely about your inability to read.

As news organizations, it’s a little weird they’re reporting outdated and bad information that prices are at record highs when they’re historically on par with egg prices the last few years, isn’t it?

WAFB was indeed reporting old news as new, which is an issue, no doubt, but your characterization that eggs are on par with the last few years is also wrong.

Currently in Gonzales

Eggs are significantly down from their high in late Feb but they are nowhere near where eggs "should be". That being said too much has been made of the egg prices since it was a definable anomaly in the supply chain.

No it isn’t. I said, 2022 into ‘23 they were higher (MUCH higher briefly) and equal to “early 2024” because that refutes WAFB’s point (along with a month ago).

I’m not typing out an essay on my phone to detail every single month for you people

It’s a market, prices move

Also, it appears WAFB deleted the egg thread

I read that and asked myself “who the hell is inchbox?” about 5 times before realizing my error.

I quoted and even bolded your post:
quote:

when they’re historically on par with egg prices the last few years
.

I maintain that is incorrect; if you were too bothered to say it in a way that is accurate, just say it was a misstatement and go about your business. You could have added specific periods to your post, but you didn't bother. You had a perfectly solid and defensible point, then you felt the need to be hyperbolic in an attempt to be even more right, and you failed.
