You're paying a brand/fashion price.
Nothing wrong with paying a little more for shades--there is a difference between the bottom of the barrel and premium shades. I'm not sure there's a lot of appreciable differences in a $150 pair of ra-bans vs $350 Maui Jims

I lost my MJs at the beach last week. I didn't feel like paying $300 for another pair, so I went the eBay route and found my replacements for $100.

Yea it’s really bad when your wife loses 4 pair by hanging them on a damn tree and forgetting them until later. SMH
