I’ve heard people in Greenville/Clemson area call Columbia, SC, COLA for some odd reason. I guess it’s just a fascination for NOLA.

People in Oklahoma and North Tx don’t even really think of Nola. The first thing they think of when talking about LA is Shreveport.

Maybe it’s just when I ask where at in LA they’ve actually visited then they say Shreveport.
