It’s all relative. If you adjust for inflation physician pay is down significantly over the past 20-30 years. I’ve heard on average 25-33%, but I have colleagues who got paid the same dollar amount 20 years ago as they do now, which is crazy to me. Medicaid and Medicare keeps slashing reimbursement, and I still don’t think we incentivize primary care enough. Pay in my field is not even keeping up with inflation, but I guess that’s the case for many these days.

Doctors? Are they still around? Thought we are all just being medically managed these days.
