I have an ancient Tupperware container that I keep my bacon in. It is long and flat. Cook 6 slices, put the package inside the container, bottom drawer of fridge. The next Saturday, cook the rest of the package, then wash the container. I once got some resealable packaging bacon, but I still used the Tupperware.

This always bothers me too. I always waste bacon as I never use a whole pack in one(or even two) meals.

This is actually a deal breaker for me. Call me lazy but I refuse to buy bacon without the resealable bag.
If you can deal with going into Wal Mart every once in a while, they have some thick bacon in resealable packages, almost identical to Wright's, but like $4 cheaper. They definitely copied.

Yea I'm up here in TN & Benton's is a big deal. I agree, it will make your house smell like a smoker, strong smell
