Why do women generally live longer than men?

Is it because most women complain constantly? Does complaining all the time extend your life?
Do men who have to listen to constant complaining from women have shorter life spans because of it?
Or is it something all together? Women take better care of their health ect.?

men, historically, have engaged in behaviors that are much more stressful
plus we're MUCH higher to be victims of violent crime
interesting to see what happens going forward with lower violent crime and women working their whole lives

regardless of lifestyle choices they live longer, i believe in this case size matters, most men that live exceptionally long lives tend to be under six foot .
